Sheridan Road Home Burglarized

Electronics, including a limited edition audio mixer, were stolen.

Screen door damaged

Someone damaged the screen door of a home in the 500 block of Chestnut Street between May 2 and 5. Damage is estimated at $30.

Fraud

Someone accessed a resident’s checking account and cashed a check for $200 between March 31 and April 1.

Barricade stolen

A fire department sign with a barricade was taken from the area of Old Green Bay and Tower roads between April 25 and May 6. The sign was later located and returned to the village.

Traffic arrest

Daniel James Carlson, 25, of Winnetka as arrested in the 300 block of Locust Street May 6 for driving with a suspended licnese. He was also cited for using a hand-held phone while driving. He has a June 12 court date.

Window broken

Someone broke the window on the south side of a beach house in the 200 block of Sheridan Road between May 3 and 7. Repair is estimated at $150.

Bathroom defaced

An employee of a business in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue discovered that someone used markers to deface a bathroom sometime between April 25 and May 5. Repair is estimated at $10.

Residential burglary

Someone stole a laptop, two iPads and a Pioneer limited edition audio mixer from a home in the 1000 block of Sheridan Road between 10:30 p.m. May 9 and 9:15 a.m. May 10. Loss is estimated at $3,400.
