Road Rage Inspires Possible Prank Call

The following arrest information was supplied by the Northfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Road Rage

On July 14, a resident on the 200 block of Riverside Drive reported a white SUV driving closely behind her as she approached her home, according to police. When she arrived home, a man exited the SUV and yelled at the woman for speeding, according to the report. About 10 minutes later, the woman received a call on her home phone, and the caller asked if she had ordered something from Wally's, police say. The woman told police she suspects the incidents are related.

Unpaid Cab Fare

On July 14, a taxi driver was taking a man from a party in Winnetka to his Northfield home, but the man exited the cab before arriving home and failed to pay a $15 fare, according to police. Northfield officers paid the cab fare and later found the man passed out on Old Hunt Road, but no complaints were signed, police say.
