Police: Twelve Cars Broken Into in One Night
Over $7,010 in loss was reported to police.
Twelve vehicles around Winnetka were broken into between the night of Friday August 16 and the morning of Saturday August 17, according to Winnetka Police reports.
Three of the break-ins were on the 200 block of Poplar St. and two were on the 800 block of Sheridan Rd.
The total amount of loss reported in the twelve break-ins totals $7,010, and objects stolen include a laptop, a Nikon D5200 camera with a lens, credit cards and religious items.
In five of the break-ins, nothing was reported missing.
Joseph Pellus, Winnetka Deputy Chief of Police, confirmed that the break-ins are still under investigation.
