Police: Three DUI Arrests in Winnetka in Four Days

Identity Theft
A victim on the 300 block of Walnut St. discovered that between May and August of 2011, an unknown offender(s) opened two separate accounts with a utility provider, police reports state. There's no reported loss at this time.      

Theft
A victim on the 100 block of Church Rd. reported that between May 25 and May 26 found that an unknown offender(s) removed artwork from the home during an estate sale, police reports state. The loss is reported at $2000.

Criminal Damage
A citizen discovered damage to a window of the commuter shelter at the Winnetka-Elm Street Metra Station on May 26, Winnetka Police reports state. The repair costs are estimated at $100.

Driving Under the Influence
Michael K. DeMetrio, 58, of Winnetka is being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving in the wrong lane, police reports state. DeMetrio was stopped by police on the 300 block of Locust Rd. on May 20. His court date is set for June 21.

Driving Under the Influence
Iam M. Ulmer, 30, of Palos Heights is being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and equipment violation, according to Winnetka Police reports. Ulmer was pulled over by police on teh 100 block of Sheridan Rd. on May 24. His court date is set for June 21.

Driving Under the Influence
Arthur Davis, 61, of Chicago is being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with expired registration and improper lighting, according toWinnetka Police reports. He was pulled over at the intersection of Green Bay Rd. and Scott Ave. on May 24. His court date is set for July 10.

Driving Without a Valid Driver's License
Juan Gonzalez-Banda, 42, of Wilmette is being charged with driving with no valid driver's license and disobeying a traffic control device, police reports state. The incident occurred at the interesection of Green Bay Rd. and Tower Rd. on May 27. His court date is set for June 13.
