Police: Man Struck in Face While Exiting Metra

The following arrest information was supplied by the Winnetka Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Possession of a Controlled Substance
James C. Cook, 18, of Winnetka is being charged with possession of a controlled substance, police reports state. The arrest was made on July 30, subsequent to an investigation to a previous incident that occurred on April 3. 

Traffic Arrest
Maksim Belyanskiy, 30, of Glenview is being charged for driving with a suspended driver's license and failure to notify the Secretary of state of a change of address, police reports state. He was stopped by police on the 1000 block of Chatfield Rd. on July 31. His court date is set for Sept. 16. 

Cannabis Activity
Parker Scully, 21, of Winnetka was cited by police for possession of cannabis, according to Winnetka Police reports. He was stopped on August 2 at the intersection of Tower Rd. and Vernon Rd. His court date is set for August 19. 

Traffic Arrest
Gustavo A. Castillo, 32, of Chicago is being charged with the operation of a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license (which was never issued), police reports state. Castillo was also cited for speeding, according to reports. He was stopped by police on the 100 block of Green Bay Rd. His court date is set for Sept. 23. 

Battery
A victim on the 1000 block of Gage St. reported that on the evening of August 3, he was walking off of the train to the station platform when an unknown offender struck him in the face and fled from the area. The victim was not injured and no signs of injury were present. The investigation continues.
