Police: Four Cited for Marijuana Possession

The following arrest information was supplied by the Winnetka Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Theft
A victim on the 800 block of Pine Tree Ln. reported that between Aug. 30 and Sept. 4, an unknown offender(s) removed two white stone planters from the south side of the residence. The amount of loss is $3500. 

Cannabis Activity
A 16-year-old female from the New Trier Township area was cited for possession of cannabis on Sept. 10, reports state. 

Cannabis Activity
Chad Scully, 18, of Winnetka is being charged with possession of cannabis, reports state. The arrest was made at the intersection of Forestway Dr. and Tower Rd. after a traffic stop where Scully was a seated passenger. The driver of the vehicle, a 16-year-old male juvenile from the New Trier township area, was also cited for possession of cannabis and alcohol by a minor. 

Traffic Arrest
Sandy Cedeno-Martinez, 26, of Chicago is being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage, reports state. She was stopped by police on Sept. 11 at the intersection of Essex Rd. and Winnetka Ave. 

Identity Theft
A victim on the 200 block of Essex Rd. reported that on July 15, an unknown offender(s) made an unauthorized debit from his Community Bank checking account. The amount of loss is reported at $148. 79. 

Burglary to Motor Vehicle
A victim on the 500 block of Hibbard Rd. reported that on Sept. 12, an unknown offender(s) smashed out the rear passenger window of her car and removed a checkbook from a purse underneath the front seat. Nothing else appears to be missing. The repair costs are estimated to be $400. 

Cannabis Activity
A 17-year-old male from Skokie was arrested for possession of cannabis on Sept. 14, reports state.
