Police: Children's Bike Stolen from Skokie School

Cannabis Activity

John A. Wirt, 20, of Winnetka and Ryan Elias, 19, of Northbrook were cited for possession of cannabis on May 13 on the 700 block of Lincoln Ave., Winnetka Police reports state. Their court date is set for June 13.

A victim on the 1000 block of Cherry St. reported that on May 13, an unknown offender(s) accessed her bank account and attempted to withdraw funds for a wire transfer, police reports state. There's no reported loss at this time.

Criminal Damage

An officer discovered that between April 13 and May 16, an unknown offender used white spray paint to deface the entrance of the Willow Rd. underpass at 299 Green Bay Rd. with graffiti, police reports state. The repair costs are estimated to be $200.

Fraud - Deception

A victim on the 500 block of Willow Rd. discovered that between May 13 and May 16, an unknown offender(s) failed to send a purchased eBay item after receiving payment, police reports state. The amount of loss is $2500.

Theft

A victim on the 1300 block of Oak St. discovered that on May 6, an unknown offender removed his cell phone from his back pack, police reports state. The phone is a Partech Pursuit 11 with a black and green cover. The amount of loss is reported at $150.

Theft of Services

A victim reported that on May 17, an unknown offender failed to pay his cab fair after being dropped off in the area to retrieve money, police reports state. The amount of loss is $55.

Driving Under the Influence

Adrian D. Russell, 26, of Wilmette is being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police reports state. Russell was also cited for improper lane usage, disobeying a stop sign and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Russell was stopped by police on May 18 on the 300 block of Green Bay Rd. His court date is set for June 13.

Theft

A victim at the Skokie School discovered that between May 14 and May 18, an unknown offender(s) removed an unsecured bicycle from the bike rack area, police reports state. The bicycle is described as a powder blue Electra Amsterdam 28" 3-speed girls bike with a bell. The amount of loss is reported at $500.
