Police: $2k in Damages Caused to Glencoe Golf Course

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glencoe Public Safety Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Suspicious Person
A complainant reported to Glencoe Public Safety that she drove by two males standing at the side of the road at Lapier and Palos St. She told police that one had a large stick and the other had what she thought appeared to be a rifle. When the officer drove by, the subjects were gone. 

Suspicious Person
Four males — all 15-years-old — were given a warning by police after they were reportedly playing Ghosts in the Graveyard near houses at Glenwood Ave. and Woodlawn Ave. The boys were hiding by cars in driveways and near houses. Police warned them to stay off of property that is not theirs and not to hide around cars. 

Missing Dog
A blind Maltese named Abby was reported missing to Glencoe Public Safety, reports state. Abby is small with a collar with Glencoe tags. She is almost completely blind. 

Dog on Sidewalk
A complainant reported that there was a dog outside of Dewey's. Police investigated, and found that the dog was properly tied up, completely adhering to local laws. The incident occurred on Sept. 16. 

Chipmunk in Glencoe Nails
A Glencoe Nails employee reported to public safety that there was a chipmunk in the store on Sept. 17, reports state. Officers were able to remove the chipmunk. 

Driving on Revoked License
Isiaka Oluewu, 35, of Chicago is being charged with driving on a suspended driver's license, driving without insurance and speeding, according to police reports. She was stopped on the 1100 block of Pebblewood Ln. on Sept. 19. 

Damage to Golf Course
An unknown offender(s) caused extensive damage to the Glencoe Golf Club's 17th green, police reports state. An unknown vehicle caused $2,000 in damage on Sept. 19 by driving in a circular formation.
