Plants Stolen from Winnetka Back Yard

Theft

Someone stole an RCA, 7-inch, white tablet computer worth $60 from the lobby of the Winnetka Ice Arena around 7:30 p.m. June 9.

Someone stole an unlocked Trek black men’s bike worth $650 from the bike rack at the northeast corner of Winnetka and Woodland avenues between 10 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. June 10.

Someone stole an unattended box of plants from a backyard in the 700 block of Cherry St. June 12 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Elevator defaced

An officer discovered at 4 a.m. June 11 that someone used green spray paint to deface the east wall of the east elevator at the train depot at 754 Elm St.

Identity theft

A victim discovered June 13 that someone used various credit and debit cards without her permission, with a total loss of more than $3,000.

Traffic arrest

Samantha Lynn Zahn, 22, of the 900 block of Oak Drive n Glencoe, was arrested for driving with a suspended license and cited for speeding at 2:30 a.m. June 14 at Green Bay and Tower roads. She has a June 30 court date.
