Northfield Police Blotter: Reckless Driving

The following arrest information was supplied by the Northfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

LAST WEEK: 

Jan. 7

No driver's license: Police stopped a 26-year-old Des Plaines man for driving with no valid safety sticker on Willow Road just after 10:15 a.m, according to the police. They also discovered that he was over his 5,000-pound weight allowance, and that he didn't have a driver's license. They cited him for operating an unsafe vehicle, and released him on a $1,500 i-bond. His court date is Jan. 20.

Reckless driving: Police cited a 19-year-old Wilmette for negligent driving just after 6:15 p.m. According to the report, he was doing donuts and screeching his tires in the west parking lot of the Northfield campus of New Trier (7 S. Happ Rd.) His court date is Jan. 23.
