No Injuries In School Bus Hit and Run

The following reports were provided by the Northfield Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations, and don't guarantee guilt.

Disturbance
On Dec. 13, a woman called 911 to report someone banging on her car window and shouting obscenities, according to police. The accused offender and a witness told the responding officer that the caller had in fact starting shouting obscenities, police say. The officer restored peace and no one was arrested, according to the police report.

Hit and Run
On Dec. 10, a school bus driver called to report a hit and run near the intersection of Happ Road and Colonial Lane, according to police. The bus was nudged from behind while it was letting off a passenger, but no injuries or damage was reported, police say.

Handicap Placard
On Dec. 16, an officer saw a woman park in the handicap spot of a parking lot and carry boxes into the post office, according to the police report. Upon inspecting the placard, the officer saw it was issued to a man, police say. The officer then confiscated the handicap placard and issued a citation to Ursula Andreason, 75, of Glenview, according to police.
