More Than $10K In Jewelry Stolen

The following reports were provided by the Winnetka Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations, but do not guarantee guilt.

Theft
On Dec. 23, a resident on the 1100 block of Laurel Avenue, reported the theft of a gold bracelet and earrings set, a diamond necklace and a gold ring with a jade stone, totaling more than $10,000.00 lost, according to police.

DUI
On Dec. 24, officers arrested Sheridan M. Huff, 19, of Evanston, for driving under the influence, according to police. He was stopped near the 300 block of Green Bay Road for going the wrong direction on a one way road, police say.

Marijuana Possession
On Dec. 29, [Name withheld], 30, of Skokie, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis, according to police. [The man] was stopped for failing to use a signal near the 100 block of Chestnut Street, police say. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license, according to the police report.
