Missing Northfield Man Found

The following arrest information was supplied by the Northfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Missing Person

On July 3, a Mt. Prospect resident reported her father, an 86-year-old Northfield resident, was missing, according to police. The man left his home at noon to visit Glenbrook Hospital, but never arrived, according to the report. Northfield officers found the man at his home at 7:30 p.m. that evening, and he told officers he got lost earlier, police say.

Theft Over $500

On July 3, a resident on the 4000 block of Arbor Lane reported three iPads and a Star of David necklace, all worth about $1,587.00, were stolen from his home by a female friend, police say. 

Emergency Radio Signal

On July 4, a Northfield officer activated the emergency signal on his portable radio, according to police. It was determined the signal was activated on accident by a dog, police say.
