Man Arrested for Unlawful use of Credit Card

The following arrest information was supplied by the Winnetka Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Criminal Damage
A victim on the 900 block of Elm St. reported that between July 12 and July 23, an unknown offender(s) spray painted the driver's side door area of his vehicle with red spray paint, police reports state. Repair costs are $300.

Identity Theft
A victim on the 100 block of Fuller Ln. reported that on July 22, an unknown offender(s) provided fraudulent identification and attempted to obtain the victim's credit card account from a retail store employee. There's no reported loss at this time.

Identity Theft
A victim on the 1300 block of Edgewood Ln. reported that between July 16 and July 19, an unknown offender(s) cashed fraudulent checks against the victim's bank account. The amount of loss is reported at $200.

Unlawful Use of a Credit Card
Atcuis Webb, 27, of Chicago is being charged with unlawful use of a credit card, police reports state. The arrest was made on July 25 on the 900 block of Green Bay Rd. The arrest was made subsequent to an investigation of a previous incident that occurred on June 28. Webb's court date is set for July 26.

Traffic Arrest
Marco Antonio Gantes-Gonzalez, 25, of Park City is being charged for driving without a valid driver's license, according to Winnetka Police reports. Gantes-Gonzalez was also cited for driving with one functioning headlamp. He was pulled over at the intersection of Tower Rd. and Forest Glen Dr. West on July 25. His court date is set for August 27.
