Man Arrested for Trespassing; Wallet Stolen from Car

Theft
A victim on the 900 block of Tower Rd. reported that between Aug. 25 and Aug. 28, an unknown offender(s) removed a round grill from the backyard, reports state. The amount of loss is reported at $25.

Theft
A victim on the 400 block of Hill Rd. reported that on Aug. 30, an unknown offender(s) removed his wallet from his car while it was parked on the driveway, reports state. The wallet contained $80, two gift cards and a driver's license. The amount of loss is reported at $190.

Possession of a Controlled Substance
James George Fitte, 28, of Chicago was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, police reports state. The arrest was made after a Aug. 31 traffic stop on the 1100 block of Elm St. in which Fitte was a passenger.

Traffic Arrest
Daniel Valera-Garcia, 23, of Highwood was arrested on Sept. 2 for driving with a suspended driver's license, police reports state. Valera-Garcia was also cited for no rear registration plate light. He was stopped on Sept. 2 on the 1000 block of Pine St.

Criminal Trespass
Steven M. Yablong, 55, of Winnetka was cited for trespassing on private property on Sept. 2, police reports state. He was stopped on the 1000 block of Sheridan Rd.
