Light Fixtures and Light Bulbs Stolen from Winnetka Home

The following arrest information was supplied by the Winnetka Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Battery
A victim on the 100 block of Green Bay Rd. reported that on July 24, he was struck in the face by an airsoft projectile that came through an open front passenger side window while he was driving, police reports state. The case is under investigation. 

Theft
A victim on the 700 block of Rosewood reported that on July 25, an unknown offender(s) removed his unattended white Samsung S4 cell phone from the front lawn of his residence. The amount of loss is reported as $230. 

Traffic Arrest
Manual Hernandez-Gonzalez, 41, of Zion is being charged for driving without a valid driver's license and disobeying a stop sign, police reports state. Hernandez-Gonzalez was stopped at the intersection of Tower Rd. and Burr St. on July 27. His court date is set for August 12. 

Theft
A victim on the 900 block of Gordon Terrace reported that between July 22 and July 27, an unknown offender(s) removed the tops of two exterior light fixtures and eight light bulbs from the top of two brick pillars in front of her residence. The amount of loss is reported at $500. 

Traffic Arrest
Philip Serwich, 61, of Wilmette is being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police reports state. Serwich was also cited for speeding, reports state. He was pulled over at the intersection of Hill St. and LInden St. on July 28. His court date is set for August 27.
