The stabbing victim's father told reporters his son would be okay after suffering a collapsed lung from the altercation.

Mitchell Silverstein, the 17-year-old Glenview resident charged with felony attempted murder for a Winnetka stabbing over an iPhone theft last week, had bond set at $300,000 during a court appearance Saturday, NBC Chicago reports.

One of the victims in the stabbing is a 17-year-old male who received a "serious puncture wound [to the chest] that required immediate response," Winnetka Chief of Police, Patrick Kreis said.

The 17-year-old's father, Gerald Scully, said "There was no cell phone," and confronted Silverstein's lawyer in the hallway after court, where he shoved the attorney, according to the CBS Chicago.
