Glencoe Teen Arrested With Hypodermic Needles

The following reports were provided by the Winnetka Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations, and do not guarantee guilt.

Possession of Hypodermic Needles
On Jan. 14, officers arrested Ryan Alexander Shafiq, 19, of Glencoe,  near the 700 block of Elm Street, for possession of hypodermic syringes and needles, according to police. Shafiq was also charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, minor in possession of alcohol and possession of an unlawfully fictitious driver’s license, police say.

Criminal Damage
On Jan. 19, officers arrested Bror Lachler-Johnson, 19, of Wilmette, near the 300 block of Green Bar Road, for criminal defacement, according to police. Another 17-year-old from the New Trier township was also arrested for criminal defacement, police say. These arrests are related to eleven other reported incidents of criminal defacement to the Winnetka train depot and underpass areas between Nov. 27, 2013 thru January 10, according to the police report.

Let them all wash it off, and spend a night or two in a nice cold cell. I'm so sick of these kids, ruining what others have worked so hard for. The problem is, we give them a slap on the wrist and they laugh --and go do it again. We need harsher laws for juveniles. Spolied morons!
