Glencoe Police Blotter: Stolen Debit Card Number and Aggravated DUI

The following information was supplied by the Glencoe Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.



A Glencoe resident reported on June 23 that sometime on June 18, her debit card number was used without her permission and $2,168.54 in charges were incurred. The resident had her card in her possession at the time the unauthorized charges were made.  Police provided her with a report and documentation to report the theft to her bank.

Traffic Arrests

Lisa Magliulo, 20, of the 800 block of Vernon Avenue, Glencoe, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol June 22 at 1:29 a.m. at the intersection of Park and Vernon Avenues.  Officers observed Magliulo driving on a tire rim, and after checking the area, determine she had left the scene where property damage was caused by her vehicle.  She also was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, unsafe tires and vehicle endangerment.

Marek Sewastjanik, 57, of the 3100 block of Rose Street, Franklin Park, was charged with no rear registration on his vehicle, no lights, and no license or permit to drive on June 21 at 11:44 p.m. at Green Bay Road and Park Avenue.

Dean Kalajbzic, 26, of the 6000 block of N. Kilpatrick, Lincolnwood, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence for driving while suspended for a previous DUI on June 25 at 6:29 a.m. Police observed Kalajbzic revving his engine and speeding near 49 Park Avenue, after receiving a report of a motorist hitting multiple barricades in the area.  He also was charged with speeding, screeching tires, no insurance and transportation of alcohol and was transported by police to bond court June 27.

Victor Moore, 50, of the 5000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, was arrested for driving on a revoked license at 9:49 p.m. on June 27 at Lake Cook and Sheridan Road. He also was charged with driving without headlights.  Moore posted bond and a court date is scheduled for July 13.
