Glencoe Police Blotter: Residential Burglary, Property Damage and Stalking

Nov. 23
Residential burglary - A victim reported stolen property valued at more than $195,000 taken from a home on the 800 block of Bluff Street. The alarm was not on at the time of the burglary between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. The victim reported missing jewelry, included Rolex, Cartier, Hermes and Bvlgari brands. The rest of the home was mostly undisturbed.

Nov. 30
Criminal damage to property - A victim reported damage to a fence post on the 200 block of Woodlawn Avenue. The incident occurred sometime between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. The damage cost is valued at $30.

Dec. 3
Residential burglary, possesion of burglary tools, stalking - A 43-year-old man from Knoxville, Tenn. was arrested at the 300 block of Park Avenue at 10:16 a.m. He damaged the door of the building at 353 Park Ave., which houses Glencoe businesses such as Starbucks. His court date is Dec. 15 and bond was set at $150,000.
