Glencoe Police Blotter: Dumpster Diving and Graffiti at Central School

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glencoe Public Safety Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

April 5

Trespassing: A 34-year-old man from Chicago was found going through the Dumpster at 600 Sheridan Road while looking for scrap metal. Police told him not to trespass on private property. The house on the property is under construction, police said.

April 10

Criminal Damage to Property: Someone reported that a green stencil of an AK-47 machine gun had been painted into the sidewalk at Central School, 620 Greenwood Ave. Some additional graffiti was found, as well. It appeared sometime between April 6 at 8 a.m. and April 9 at 4 p.m.
