Glencoe Blotter: Minor Tries to Buy Vodka, Traffic Arrests

Feb. 6
No Valid Driver’s License: A 35-year-old man from Chicago was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license at the corner of Park and Vernon avenues at 7:40 a.m. His court date is March 15.

Suspended Driver’s License: A 32-year-old man from Park Ridge was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license at the corner of Sheridan Road and Montgomery Street at 12:02 p.m. Police also cited him for no proof of insurance and expired registration. His court date is Feb. 24.

Unlawful Use of Credit Card: A victim reported that between Jan. 6 and Feb. 10 someone used her credit card numbers for multiple purchases at the Sunco gas station, Subway, Dollar General and AT&T. The sum total is close to $1,000.

Misrepresentation of Age: A 18-year-old female was cited under a village ordinance for misrepresentation of age by a minor. She attempted to buy vodka at the 7-Eleven, 107 Green Bay Road, at 10:08 p.m.
Feb. 12
Assisting Winnetka Law Enforcement: At 6:20 a.m. Glencoe police pursued a stolen, black Mercedes SUV around the Skokie Lagoons in connection with a stolen car report in Winnetka.
