Former Northfield Paramedic Pleads Guilty in Child-Porn Case

The former paramedic in Northfield also served as a Northbrook police dispatcher .

Daniel L. Berman, 48, a former paramedic in Northfield who also served as a Northbrook police dispatcher, pleaded guilty on July 2 in federal court to having more than 100,000 child pornography images and videos, Chicago Tribune reported.

Indicted in November 2012 on three counts of child pornography, Berman, of the 2600 block of Lisa Court in Northbrook, pleaded guilty to one count and sentencing is scheduled for September--the minimum penalty for him is five years in prison and maximum is 20 years, the website reported.
