Five Incidents of Criminal Trespass on Forest Glen Drive

The following arrest information was provided by the Winnetka Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Theft

A victim on the 700 block of Elm St. reported to Winnetka Police that on April 5, an unknown offender(s) had entered his unsecured vehicle and removed items from the passenger seat, police reports state. The items removed included a Timbuktu black canvas bag that contained a Blackberry Bold 9780 cell phone. The amount of loss is reported at $625.

Keiara A. Piper, 22, of Oak Grove, Kentucky was arrested for driving with a suspended driver's license, according to Winnetka Police reports. She was also cited for improper lane usage and improper display of registration. Her court date is set for May 10. 

Domestic Battery

A male juvenile, 17, from the New Trier township is being charged for domestic battery, according to Winnetka Police reports. The arrest was made subsequent to an investigation for a previous incident that occurred on March 27.

Identity Theft

A victim on the 900 block of Pine Trees Ln. reported to police that on March 7, an unknown offender opened up a GE Capital credit card account without his authorization without his authorization, reports state. There's no reported loss reported at this time.

Burglary to a Motor Vehicle

A victim on the 1000 block of Tower Rd. reported that between April 11 and April 12, an unknown offender(s) entered his unsecured vehicle and removed an iPod, some curency and a figurine from the center console, police reports state. The amount of loss is reported at $123.

Criminal Trespass

Several victims reported that between April 10 and April 12, unknown offender(s) unlawfully entered five different vehicles between the 900 block and the 1200 block of Forest Glen Dr., Winnetka Police reports state. Nothing appears to be missing from the cars at this time.

Theft

An employee at Verizon Wireless at 510 Winnetka Rd. discovered that an unknown offender(s) entered the store and removed a white display Apple iPhone 5, police reports state. The estimated loss has been reported at $300.

Theft

A victim on the 1400 block of Edgewood Ln. reported that between March 30 and April 6, unknown offender(s) entered the residence and removed a Sony Playstation with two remote controls, a blue wireless remote charging station and various Sony DVD games, police reports state. The amount of loss is reported at $705.

Traffic Arrest

Tiffany M. Saarinen, 45, of Winnetka is being charged with driving with a revoked driver's license, police reports state. Saarinen was also cited for disobeying a stop sign. Her court date is set for May 10.
