Firefighters Respond to Fire in Glencoe

The fire occurred on the 500 block of Dundee Rd. No one was injured.

Glencoe firefighters extinguished a fire in the 500 block of Dundee Rd. around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, according to the Chicago Tribune. Deputy Chief Al Kebby told the Tribune that firefighters found a planter outside of the house that was on fire, which was spreading to the side of the house. Authorities are still checking to determine the origin.

Firetrucks from Northbrook, Winnetka and Highland Park also responded to the call, the Tribune states. The residents were home at the time, but were not injured, and the home had no damage.
