Theft

A display unit double-door refrigerator valued at $400 was stolen while it was stored outside during renovation of a business at 1025 Tower Road between Nov. 10 and 12.
A 16-year-old from New Trier Township was arrested for theft on Nov. 14 at 385 Winnetka Ave. Police said the arrest was made following an investigation of a stolen iPhone that occurred earlier the same day. The teen was referred to Peer Jury, police said.

A wallet containing a driver’s license, credit cards and a checkbook was reported stolen from an unattended purse in the gym at 620 Lincoln Ave. between 4:45 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. on Nov. 14. Police say the loss is estimated at $20.
Traffic Arrest
Daniel J. Carlson, 24, of 4924 Enfield Ave., Skokie, was arrested Nov. 14 for driving with a suspended driver’s license following a traffic stop at 850 Ash St. He was also cited for improper display of plates and failure to notify Secretary of State of address change. He was issued a Nov. 30 court date.
Julio Ramirez Navarro, 46, of 1316 W. Farwell Ave., Chicago, was arrested Nov. 14 for driving with a suspended driver’s license following a traffic stop at 1046 Gage St. The arrest was made subsequent to a traffic crash investigation, police said. He was issued a Nov. 30 court date.
Manuel Santiago Sosa, 34, of 1612 W. Sunnyside, Chicago, was arrested Nov. 16 for driving with a suspended driver’s license following a traffic stop in the 900 block of Green Bay Road. He was also cited for improper lighting and issued a Dec. 26 court date.
Disorderly Conduct
A resident in the 300 block of Linden Street reported receiving a harassing phone call and several disturbing text messages from the owner of a home repair company demanding payment for services never performed or authorized between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Nov. 11. Police are still investigating the case.
