Dog Struck by Man Driving with Suspended License

The following arrest information was provided by the Winnetka Police Department. When an arrest is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

A victim on the 200 block of Fairview Rd. reported that on April 2, an unkown offender(s) removed an unsecured blue and silver child's Razor scooter from the bike rack, police reports state. The amount of loss has been reported at $80.

A victim on the 1000 block of Spruce St. reported that between April 19 and April 20, an unknown offender(s) removed a vehicle hood ornament from a vehicle parked on the driveway, Winnetka Police reports state. The amount of loss was reported at $35.

Adam E. Semel, 36, of Glencoe is being charged with driving with a suspended driver's license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, according to Winnetka Police reports. The arrest was made subsequent to a 911 call of a dog being reportedly struck by a vehicle. The dog's condition is unknown by authorities at this time. Semel's court date is set for June 6.
