Diamond Watch, Pearl Necklace Stolen From Home

Also in this blotter, a man was arrested for DUI at 8:30 a.m. on Tower Road.

Identity theft

Someone stole a wallet out of a woman’s purse on Feb. 10 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. while she was at an event in the 700 block of Rosewood Ave. The victim’s American Express card was used shortly after, but the charges were cancelled. Amount of loss is unknown.

Criminal damage

Someone forcibly removed a ventilation cap from the air unit located on the roof of a business in the 500 block of Chestnut Ct. between Sept. 11 and Feb. 11. Repair costs $80.

Theft

A victim discovered between June 1 and Sept. 1, unknown someone removed a Cartier gold and silver watch, a Breitling watch with a diamond dial and a black pearl necklace from a residence in the 500 block of Maple St. Amount of loss exceeds $5000.

Driving with a suspended license

Ryan W. Gore, 22, from Arlington Heights, was arrested for driving with a suspended driver’s license Feb. 13 at 2 a.m. at Willow Road and Birch Street. Gore was also cited for failure to signal when required. His court date is set for March 17.

DUI

Douglas A. Cochran, 57, from Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol Feb. 13 at 8:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Tower Rd. Cochran was also cited for improper lane usage, no proof of insurance and operating a motor vehicle in violation of Restriction-B (failure to wear corrective lenses). His court date is set for March 24.
