Theft

A resident reported someone stole $200 from her purse in the 900 block of Green Bay Road in Glencoe on Dec. 7.
Criminal damage to property

A Glencoe resident in the 200 block of Mary Street reported that sometime between Nov. 30 and Dec. 5, someone cut the wire to the resident’s Christmas lights and caused $50 worth of damage.
Traffic Arrests
Jose Roberto Garcia-Santamaria, 30, of 2424 W. 34th Street, Chicago, was cited Dec. 10 for failure to use signal for lane change and driving without a valid driver’s license following a traffic stop at Willow Road and Three Lakes Drive. Garcia-Santamaria was later released on a $1,500 I-bond and issued a Jan. 10 court date.
Alberto Hernandez, 42, of 2916 N. Kildare Ave., Chicago, was cited Dec. 10 for speeding, driving without a valid driver’s license and not having valid proof of insurance after police observed a vehicle traveling 50 mph in a 35-mile zone. Hernandez was later released on a $2,000 I-bond and given a Feb. 1 court date.
