Age Misrepresentation, Traffic Arrests, Warrant — Glencoe Police Blotter

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glencoe Public Safety Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

April 27

Misrepresentation of Age: An 18-year-old Wilmette male was cited for possessing a false Wisconsin driver’s license at 7-Eleven, 107 Green Bay Rd., at 11:26 p.m. He was attempting to buy a Playboy magazine.

April 28

Warrant: A 45-year-old male from Shorewood, Wis. was charged with speeding at Dundee Road and Eden’s Expressway at 12:17 p.m. Police discovered that he was wanted on a 1992 warrant from Lake County. He posted $1,000 bond and was given a court date of May 15 in Lake County.

Suspended Driver’s License: A 59-year-old male from Highland Park was charged with failure to dim deadlines, driving an uninsured Mercedes-Benz convertible and driving on a suspended driver’s license at Dundee Road and Peeblewood Drive at 11:21 p.m. He posted $2,000 bond and was given a court date of June 11.

April 30

Invalid Driver’s License: A 40-year-old male from Highland Park was charged with driving with an invalid driver’s license in the 700 block of Green Bay Road at 10:30 p.m. Police also cited him for speeding. His court date is May 25.

May 2

Theft Recovery: Around Forestway Drive and Elder Court, a police officer discovered a bike that been stolen in Glencoe last month. The bike was chained to a tree.
