$700 Kayak Paddle Stolen

Someone also stole four plants from the front of a home.

The following information is from the Winnetka Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Kayak paddle stolen

Someone stole an unlocked 190-centimeter, black Werner kayak paddle with a wood core and edges worth $700 between 3 p.m. July 13 and 4:30 p.m. July 20 in the 700 block of Sheridan Road.

Someone stole four plants from the front porch and the front of a home in the 600 block of Provident Avenue between 2 p.m. July 12 and 3:30 p.m. July 19. Loss is estimated at $300.

Missing stop sign

A passerby reported a missing stop sign from the corner of Essex Road and Elder Lane. The entire  post and sign were removed sometime between 6 p.m. July 19 and 1:30 a.m. July 20. Loss is estimated at $400.

Bike stolen

Someone stole an unlocked men’s red, grey and black Giant 21-speed bike worth $400 from a parking lot in the 800 block of Green Bay Road between 10 p.m. July 13 and 7 a.m. July 14.

Someone stole an unlocked maroon Schwinn bike worth $200 from the sidewalk in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue between 12:40 and 1:20 p.m. July 18.
