6-Year-Old Winnetka Girl Struck by Tree
A young girl from Winnetka is recovering from a storm accident on Monday.
A six-year-old girl from Winnetka was recuperating on Tuesday after she suffered severe injuries from an accident during Monday's storm, according to a NBC Chicago report.
With three skull fractures and several broken vertebrae, Lexy Tingle was staying at Children's Memorial Hospital on Tuesday.
Doctors say her skull should heal quickly, while her vertebrae may take about six weeks to fully heal.
