19 Year Old Arrested on Pot Charges

A home was also burglarized of $5,000 worth of jewelry.

The following information is from the Winnetka Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Pot arrest

Rodolf J. Bacette, 19, of the 2100 block of Cleveland St. in Evanston, was arrested at 8 p.m. July 7 at Sheridan and Lamson for unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for unlawful possession of alcohol. He has an Aug. 1 court date.

Someone used red and yellow paint to write graffiti on the south end of the pier at 725 Sheridan Road. The graffiti was discovered July 9. Repair costs $150.

Graffiti at park

Sometime between 11 a.m. July 7 and 11 a.m. July 9, someone used pink spray paint to write graffiti in various locations around the park pavilion at 1140 Willow Road. Repair costs $400.

Burglary

Someone stole more than $5,000 worth of jewelry from a home in the 1500 block of Tower Road between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. July 10.

Theft of fare

A cab driver reported that at 2 a.m. July 12, a passenger asked to be dropped off in the 200 block of Apple Tree Road and said he had to go inside to get money to pay the $75 fare. The passenger never returned.
