On Wednesday, October 24, at 5:30 p.m. the Wycliffe Singers from Stonehouse, England, will perform during the Evensong service at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Evanston. The group of 15 students attends Wycliffe College, a day and boarding school for boys and girls ages 2-18, set in the heart of the Cotswolds.

The students and two teachers are visiting North Shore Country Day School, experiencing American culture and education. Included in their itinerary are home-stays with North Shore students, visiting classes with their hosts, attending a school play, athletic events and sightseeing. In addition to performing at St. Luke’s, the group will sing at CJE Senior Life in Skokie.

North Shore and Wycliffe have had numerous exchanges over the past four years including artist-in-residence programs, North Shore history teacher Frank Dachille spending a sabbatical at Wycliffe to teach U.S. history and establish a Model United Nations program for the British school.

North Shore Country Day School is a college-preparatory school of 510 students in junior kindergarten through 12th grade, established in Winnetka in 1919.
