Winnetka Designer Kitchens Showcased in Junior League Tour

The Junior League of Evanston-North Shore's annual "Designer Kitchens" tour features six noteworthy residential kitchens in Winnetka and Wilmette.

Want some fresh ideas for your tired old kitchen? The Junior League of Evanston-North Shore designer kitchen tour could provide just that inspiration.

Scheduled for Friday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the tour features six designer kitchens in Winnetka and Wilmette, ranging in style from contemporary to classic. 

Designers will also be on hand to talk about work flow, space utilization, flooring, lighting and decorations. They include representatives from Morgante-Wilson Architects; Gensburg, Toniolo, Harting Architects; kitchen designer and cabinet maker Christopher Peacock; Heritage Luxury Builders; design-build company Benvenuti and Stein; and construction firm Scott Lyon & Company

Tickets are $50 per person before April 26 or $60 after and on the day of the tour. The price includes a boxed lunch from Galleria Marchetti; tickets can be purchased on the Junior League's website. Proceeds benefit local nonprofits, including Fitting Futures, which provides free interview attire and career services to women in need, as well as Baby Steps, which hosts educational baby showers for at-risk mothers to-be.
