Winnetka Native Brings Boxing To South Side Chicago School
Kimberly Hickey was hired to be a math teacher and boxing coach for Leo Catholic High School last summer.
Last summer, Leo Catholic High School, an all-boy school on Chicago's South Side, hired Winnetka's Kimberly Hickey, 24, to teach math and train students in boxing, the Chicago Tribune reports.
"All the kids respect her," Mike Joyce, a Leo alum and lawyer who volunteers at the school as their head boxing coach, told the Chicago Tribune. "We respect her. ... She doesn't suffer fools."
