The Storybook Mom at lollie

Nili Yelin, The Storybook Mom appears at Lollie, 1312 Chicago Avenue, Evanston on Thursday, July 25th at 4pm. Nili will perform "Sidewalk Sale" Storytime and keep the little ones busy while mommies and grandmas shop!
 
Nili
Yelin, a Northwestern University Theatre graduate combines her love of
books, theatre, children and motherhood into an interactive "sit down
stand-up" style of storytelling for children of all ages. Incorporating
her background in theatre, film, voice-over , improv and stand-up
comedy, Nili adapts and dramatizes picture books, poems, songs,
finger-plays and original material.
Nili appears weekly at venues all over Chicago (schedule available at www.storybookmom.com)
and has recently added locations on the North Shore as well. She also
appears at many schools, libraries, museums and festivals.
 
Nili
hosts the Children's Stage at the Chicago Tribune Printers Row Book Fair
and recently appeared at the Field Museum's Crown Family Play Lab for a
series of storytelling events. She also narrates the Field Museum's
children's pod casts . Nili is the spokesperson for the corporate
initiative "Terrific Tales" which helps schools obtain classroom
libraries from various corporations through the not-for-profit Center
for Companies That Care and is the book reviewer for the award winning
children's cooking website, Spatulatta.com
 
Founded in 2003,
lollie is a unique kids boutique located just north of Chicago in the
heart of the Chicago-Dempster Street Shops in Evanston, Illinois. Lollie
carefully selects products based on quality, age-appropriateness and
safety. Lollie believes in natural materials, organics & supporting

Chicago Tribune describes Nili as "the highly popular Storybook Mom"
and Time Out Chicago recently called her "the most popular storyteller
in these parts." Make It Better Magazine voted Nili "The Best
Storyteller" in their Sept. 2011 Best of the North Shore issue.
