Community Corner

"The Heart of Wellness…Learn, Rebalance and Taste"

To
emphasize the benefits of a natural approach to heart health, the Gaples

Institute for Integrative Cardiology is sponsoring a community seminar entitled

“The
Heart of Wellness…Learn, Rebalance and Taste” on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Takiff Center/Glencoe
Park District, 999 Green Bay Road, Glencoe, Illinois.  The day’s activities run from 12:30– 4:30 PM
and include a variety of educational presentations, demonstrations, and group
participation.

“There is a world of opportunity to
enhance heart health through nutrition and lifestyle approaches. But the more
you know, including some unexpected new scientific findings, the more empowered
you are to partner with your health care provider for optimal health,”
according to Stephen Devries, MD, Preventive Cardiologist and Executive Director of Gaples Institute
for Integrative Cardiology.

 Dr.
Devries will be leading a discussion beginning at 1:00 entitled “Natural Prescriptions
for Heart Health.”
