Democrats to Host Ravinia “FUN-raiser” on July 20th

The Tenth Congressional District Democrats will hold its Annual Ravinia “FUN-raiser" on Sunday, July 20th on the lawn at Ravinia Festival, located at 418 Sheridan Road in Highland Park. Local Democrats will begin gathering at 4:00 p.m. prior to the 5:00 p.m. concert. “An Evening of Lerner and Loewe” will be performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

“FUN-raiser” tickets are available for $15, the same as box office prices, including admission to the lawn. Attendees may bring their own chairs or rent them from Ravinia Festival. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe’s shows include My Fair Lady, Brigadoon, Camelot,Paint Your Wagon and Gigi. Steven Reineke will be conducting the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The performance will include vocalists Betsy Wolfe, Ryan Silverman, and Ben Crawford; the Chicago Chorale, directed by Bruce Tammen; and the Lakeside Singers, directed by Robert Bowker.
