Reading: The Novels of Richard Smolev

Please join us for a reading in honor of former Glencoe resident and author Richard Smolev. Richard and his wife Nancy Alessi lived in Glencoe for 15 years. Having long desired to write fiction, Richard found the inspiration for his first novel, Offerings, in a book he checked out of the Glencoe Library. His second novel, the early drafts of which were written in his Washington Avenue home, is titled In Praise of Angels and was published in July. Due to illness, Richard won’t be able to join us, so his close friend Alan Wolf will be our reader.
