COMMITTEE OF TWO highlights the professional talents of Joyce Stern Greenberg and Judy Bement Samuelson, a pair of spirited, seasoned performers, both students together in the 1950's at Northwestern University in the School of Speech.  This original musical romp, with book and lyrics by Greenberg is based on their own humorous outlook on aging.  Also featured is musical director Ester Hana, popular cabaret artist.

"It has been a hoot meeting up with Judy fifty years after we were in the same class at Northwestern," said Joyce.  "After leading lives that were worlds apart, we find ourselves at a point where we can savor our similarities, laugh at our differences.. and save money... we have no time to go shopping!"

Judy recalled, "In the beginning stages of rehearsal, I had a terrible time memorizing.  Poor Joyce must have wondered how she got involved with me!  But through her encouragement and my stubbornness, I actually memorized it all!  I have a huge sense of accomplishment."

Both onstage and off, Judy and Joyce realize the importance of finding humor in their lives, as they musically contemplate universal issues, such as their weight, driving skills, family and fantasies about old boyfriends.

"Now, here I am, back to performing, singing and dancing... for my "third act," said Judy.  "What could be more fun and life-affirming?"
