MLK Day of Service for All Ages and Abilities

REMINDER! Monday is MLK Day and the Annual Day of Service sponsored by The Volunteer Center, The Kindness Connection and The Winnetka Community House between 9am and noon.
This is a perfect opportunity for you and your friends and family or service group to celebrate the legacy of King and his message of equality and justice for all - through service. Ten different service projects will be available for people of all ages and abilities to make a difference in the lives of people (and orphaned animals) in crisis. MLK's famous I Have A Dream speech and footage will be run in the background throughout the morning.
There are no fees or reservations necessary to attend. Participants may complete their projects until noon. If they wish to make a no-sew blanket, we do ask they bring four yards of fleece fabric and fabric scissors. Questions? Please email me at info@volunteercenterhelps.org.
