November 2013 marks the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's most famous speech - the Gettysburg Address. Historian Gary Midkiff will examine the context of the speech, the way Lincoln used language from previous speeches and writings, the central points Lincoln was trying to make, and the reasons why the speech still speaks to us today.
