Instrumental Wagner

Not interested in sitting through an unintelligible four-hour German opera? Not to worry. Some of Wagner's most appealing and exciting music is found in the orchestral preludes, overtures, scenes, and interludes that accompany his music dramas. When heard by itself, this music has a popular appeal of its own and shows the composer to be a master of orchestral writing.  Presented by Michael Vaughn from National Louis University.
