Giverny and Beyond: The Garden as Art in Normandy (NSSC Class)

On June 6, 2014, all eyes will be on Normandy for the 70th anniversary commemoration of the D-Day landings.  Located nearby this hallowed landscape are some of the most extraordinary gardens in France.  Monet's artfully conceived gardens at Giverny, as well as other splendid, imaginative examples of the gardener's art, will offer unforgettable images of this lush Normandy countryside, renowned not only for historic WW II battlefields, but also for the creative and visionary gardens near the Normandy coast.  Presented by Tish Robinson of The Wonders of France.
