"Knowing Nick & Nate" short documentary screening

On Thursday, January 24 “Knowing Nick & Nate” will screen at 7 p.m. at Glencoe’s Taffik Center (999 Green Bay Road, Glencoe, IL 60022). The film highlights the daily life of a family with two autistic boys and their efforts show that they are a typical American family. After the screening a Q&A will be held with the family featured in the film and with co-director Kristen Kellar and Ben Schamisso. There is a suggested donation of $10. The trailer can be viewed at vimeo.com/4939039.

“Knowing Nick & Nate” was awarded Best Student Documentary at the 2012 Illinois International Film Festival and was an Official Selection at the 2012 ArcLight Cinemas Documentary Festival.
