Author Visit: Mystery Writer Chris Abani at the Glencoe Public Library

Acclaimed mystery writer Chris Abani will discuss his newly published (Jan. 7, 2014) novel The Secret History of Las Vegas in a special appearance at the library. Copies will be available for purchase at the event from the Book Stall. Please join us for an interesting evening of reading, questions and answers, and book signing!

The author of GraceLand and The Virgin of Flames, Mr. Abani is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, the PEN/Hemingway Award, and a Lannan Literary Fellowship. Born in Nigeria, he is currently a Board of Trustees Professor of English at Northwestern University.
