Several area towns — including Skokie, Evanston and Deerfield — have been debating passing gun bans or regulations for their communities.
Patch asked Winnetka readers if they'd like to see a ban passed in the town, and commenters weighed in against the village passing a ban. But the Village Council is still on the fence whether the topic will be brought up for discussion at an upcoming meeting.
"[The Council is] monitoring the issue and has not yet determined if further action will be taken at this time," Greable wrote.
