In March this year, the New Trier Board of Education voted to dismiss German language teacher Daniela Rossmann for an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student.

The story landed on Huffington Post Chicago.

No. 7:

Glencoe Public Safety recovered a $7,000 bicycle that was in downtown area on Aug. 22.

The alleged thief had tried to sell the expensive bike on eBay for $3,000, only to be thwarted by attentive bike shop owners at Get a Grip Cycles in the 4300 block of West Irving Park Road in Chicago.
