Winnetka Firefighters Investigating Fire on Bryant

Winnetka Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 800 block of Bryant Avenue. No one was injured in the fire. The fire was mostly in the back of a house under construction at 807 Bryant Avenue and did not affect nearby homes, according to Winnetka Fire Chief Alan Berkowsky

Six New Trier High School students were charged with distributing inappropriate photos by text and email. The investigation began last month and District 203 Superintendent Linda Yonke alerted parents that the police were looking into the matter.

Winnetka PD: No Formal Complaints of Harassment of Trustee Candidate Supporters

The Winnetka Home Owners Association’s (WHOA) newsletter said some people who wrote to the organization reported receiving harassing phone calls or visits because of their support for a Village Trustee candidate. Winnetka police say no formal complaints have been filed regarding the issue. 

Results include the 9th and 10th Congressional districts; 9th and 29th State Senate districts; 18th and 58th State House districts; Glencoe Bond referendum and Northfield Electrical Aggregation referendum.

New Trier High School ranked among top 10 high schools in the state. Five Winnetka schools and two Northfield schools were ranked among top 50 in the State.
